Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Tell Me was a departure from the early blues and soul covers The Rolling Stones had been recording in the early 1960s—it was the first A-side Stones single that featured a song written by Jagger/Richards and in 1964 it went on to become the first Top-40 hit for The Rolling Stones in the USA.

Now featuring vocalist K Darling and guitarist D Finocarro, this cover recording of Tell Me was produced by blues rocker Jimmi Hood under his “Classic Rock for the 21st Century” Uber-Rock banner and celebrates Classic Rock and the enduring 12-string relevance of the original Stones version while enhancing the energy with a guitar-slashing hard rock edge and taking it to the next ‘contemporary’ level with K’s impassioned vocal.
